I have a linksys wireless card that I just bought today. It supports all a+b+g and I also have wireless b linksys router. I have a problem where whenever I go to download something off the internet, I have excellent signal strength, It stiops dling after like 1 min. I mean it doesn't even go past halfway. Do you think it is my router because I can use the internet fine at very low signal strenth. I can't get anything onto my computer because it won't work for me it just freezes up on me. Please I really need help I don't wanna go take it to someone to have it fixed.

Test the following and isolate the problem:

Plug your computer wired to the router and see if you experience the same issue with stopped download. If you do, try update firmware of router.

If you have no download problems when wired, try changing the channel on the router. Possible interference from other wireless device. Mine "had" problems everytime the phone rang. Changed the channels on the router solved it. Cordless phone may also go through a diagnostic/self test and cause the interference at intervals.

Yeah most 2.4Ghz Cordless phones cause this problem of course having an older 900mhz phone or 5ghz phone wouldnt be a problem
