Yes, getting a laptop with a 7900gs for ~1000 and under is a steal despite the low ram and screen resolution. And that's a pretty good price on the outlet.

With your 1440x900 resolution you can play all current games at near max settings. You might want to upgrade the ram to 1.5 or 2 gigs. I've seen e1705s with the same specs and a uxga screen go for ~$1400-$1500.

Both look like good deals except for maybe the WUXGA screen unless you like the WXGA one , I have a 15% off $800 refurbished inspiron copoun if you want it pm me ( If you shopping the US DELL outlet store ) .

those are good deals they retail for about 1500ish USD??
