GREAT LAPTOP FOR THE PRICE OF £800

the specs are fairly good, and the laptop itself shows no degrade in quality.

very good build, does exactly what u would expect.. the screen is pretty neat, with very clear glossy finish kinda look, bit like the x-black screens etc.

i was pretty amazed with the specs compared to other machines in the price range.

i think it was a absolute bargain for what you get.

my only downside is.. not much info found for this laptop.. philips, there is support from thetechguys.co.uk or pcservicecall.co.uk, but im looking for system diagrams and the questions to whether i could upgrade the grpahics go7400 to a higer card like the go 7900 etc? and if so, how.. where do i find and locate the card.. etc..

any help would be great thanks.

apart from that, love using this lil beauty. performance is excellent. but always room for better in the gpu area.. as i like the graphics to be top notch. ready for any game.lol.

That's awesome man, I should have call my aunt to get that laptop instead of the Compaq, how come it's so CHEAP for UK money.

Most laptops out there are not made to be easily upgradeable. Sure, you can stick in some more RAM or bump the hard drive size, but when it comes to something like a GPU, heat, energy, and size come into play. But I can virtually guarentee that you can't upgrade a 7400 to a 7900 in a laptop this size.
