travelmate 2356xm prob

hi, I have got a travelmate 2356XM, when turned on, it gives a loud continuous beep from the speakers, have checked ram, hard drive, all other parts. Have reseated the CPU, but still no luck, it doesnt post, LEDs flash on as if it is, no screen either.

any help would b appreciated.

have u checked the motherboard ? perhaps thers some problems ther. perhpas a short circuit
