If anyone knows of any benchmarks with 2 similar rigs like this then the real world differences could be discussed. Clock settings for both machines 9600's should be the same to be fair. I would bet the differences in performance between the 2 would be slight.
Well its not really about the power differences. It is about Dashby saying that all who didnt buy a P4 and instead went for a P-M "messed up".
In retaliation many P-M people united and started bashing at Dashby for making such a claim. At first it was just serious responses. However then it became quite a funny thing, since Dashby never showed up and we began talking about mittens and about how Dashby probably just wanted to hear people praising his machine.
I dont think it ever really came down to which one is more powerful than the other. We all know which one is better at battery life and which one is best at power.
P4=Powerful and low battery life, along with a great deal of heat dissipation.
PM=Almost as powerful as P4s but not quite, great battery life, along with low heat dissipation. (No mittens needed
