Are refurbs a good deal

So im currently a PC user but im 99% sure im going to "switch" and get a MacBook becuase my XPSM170 is huge and i need something more portable for surfing the web/email/IM/ just small things.

Are apple's refurbs any good? I purchased PC refurbs before with mixed results. I got a gateway with a crack in the corner and a loose LCD and i got a perfect Dell new chassis ect. If i do go the route of the refurb apple i want to make sure it has a new chassis no scratches ect and works perfectly.

Anyone who has gone this route let me know your results.

apples refurbs are great. my next few purchases will be one.

def. highly recommended! especially since they have the same warranty, and cost less!

who wouldnt?
