Hi guys,
I'm out of warranty on my 9300 and the lower 2/3 of the screen crazed over... I took a pic when only lower 1/3 was crazed, and its attached.
I was wondering if this is a serviceable problem? If I press the left side of the screen together the entire display comes back, as shown in the second pic.
A new display is so expensive
I was able to open up the screen and take out the LCD. I could also take off some tape at the left side
(Was trying to look for obvious loose connections that I could clean/solder), but I dont have the directions/ confidence to open the LCD itself.
I'm pretty certain it's some contact problem, possibly with a flex pcb cable inside the LCD. Is there a way I can service this? Anybody done something similar before?
