Oblivion crashes on i8600

Hi guys,

After playing half life 2 very smoothly on my laptop i decided to give oblivion a try, i find that the game starts up well enough but after a few minutes of playing the screen freezes! do you guys think i need to upgrade my ram?

What resolution/settings do you run it at?

And yes, you'd probably need more RAM lol.
What are the min. system req. for that game?
