Is the 9100 widescreen and which one should I get?

Ok I should hopefully convince my dad let me get a 9100 today (even though it's my money ) But this is my 1st laptop so I have no idea about the different versions of the screen.

I will only really be using it for games, surfing and perhaps some programming. So which screen would u recommend?

Also is it widescreen? Would really love to take advantage of the new games like Ut2k4 which utilize this feature.

I got the WSXGA and it's already got quite a small screen. I can only imagine how small hte WUXGA screen is.

If your willing to spend the dough I would Reccomend the Dell Precision M60 with the Quadro FX 1000 video card (geforce 5700) go with the WSXGA screen

The wuxga is beautiful and the font isn't too small imho. You can set the dpi to 120 and it is much more legible. I have mine at 96 and it is fine.

One note with the dpi, if you set it to 120, there are a few bugs (features). I would keep it on 96 for the time being. Wait till they work out the FEATURES. Read the previous posts on this forum. It will default to 120 as a default on a standard reinstall, change it back to 96 first thing, for the time being.

The M60 WUXGA is the widescreen for the M60 right? Is that the best screen you can get for the M60?
