This recommendation is a lifesaver. Do get one if you are playing around like that. Saved my ass more than once.

Ended up buying the 2.5 usb enclosure (30$) and it WORKS - transfered all my files! Thanks so much and happy holidays [only problem I had was putting my hard drive into the enclosure ^_^]
