I'm wondering where is a good place to customize a 17'' Core 2 Duo? *By Asus*

Used as a desktop replacement / games. I checked a few sites already, and they have like very little customizations...

I suggest MilestonePC.com for customization of ensemble and built-on Asus laptops.

Also what 17" laptop are you looking into? Also what is your budget?

Thanks,

iono my laptop right now is being kinda weird... i have a HP dv2000t w/ those touch sensitive buttons near the top. Recently, they are going haywire! I'm not even touching the laptop and the buttons keep going off as if a ghost was pressing it... iono what to do.. call ghostbusters r get me a new one? lol

I shoulda gotten a 17'' as i never take this 14'' out much anyways. I pretty much use it in the dorm. I do some gaming, nothing serious. The 7200go sucks. Budget.... I guess as long as i'm payin for quality, i dont mind 2grand. I cheaped out and got a 1grand laptop (the dv2000t). But my impressions of asus is that they are a lot higher class, so I figured they are worth the 20 bills.

So what are you all's impression of the asus laptops? in general / 17''s?

Oh yea... i also saw the preview of the 17'' G2p, i'm not interested in that one cuz of the colors. I dont want somethign too flashy, just clean look (CF/brushed aluminum)

You probably want to look at the W2 notebook [ASUS Ensemble], or a configurable ASmobile notebook [built on ASUS].
What are your [absolute] specs requirements?

Also, regarding resellers, check out the sticky in this forum.
You can also see where everyone is located to avoid sales tax [ex. we only charge tax to MO customers].
