New user from the UK.
I recently bought an Acer Travelmate 2428AWXMI and have noticed a stuttering/distortion to the sound when windows boots up , this same problem is there for the first 10/20 seconds when playing audio cd's , this is the same regardless of what media player i use.Acer support suggested i run the recovery cd to discount any software problems,I took this to be just a standartd reply?. It can also be quite slow on boot-up ,it came with the Pentium-M and 512mb,would appreciate any advice.
