I just figured out how to do it, but I didn't document every step. If you've already downloaded and installed the video and display drivers from the IBM Lenovo web site, then you need to go to Add/Remove Hardward Wizard (from the Control Panel), then select the VGA device option (don't remember the exact name). Then it'll ask you to select the driver - go to where you installed these drivers (mine were in C:\DRIVERS\WIN), have it browse the folder - it should find it, install it and then automatically reboot your computer. You should then be able to choose a higher resolution and color properties from there. Hope this helps.
