Best HDD 7200 rpm

I'd like to change my notebook HDD, so can you tell me which is the best hdd @ 7200 rpm with 100 gb or more?
I've seen the seagate momentus 7200.2 160 gb and the hitachi 7k100 100 gb,but I'm not an expert so I need your help...

PS: I live in Italy, so I also need a internet shop that can send me the hdd here...

PPS: I know...I'm a bit boring...

go with the largest density hard drive (i.e. the one that can hold the most GB). Also ive read that hitachi 7200-100gb is really nice.


Havent heard about or even seen the seagate one before.
(edit: after searching google it looks like its going to be the fastest notebook harddrive around, so if you have the money then go for it).

I've googled for the momentus 7200.2 160gb,but it'll be on sale in the first half of the next year...

So the ony choice is the hitachi 7k100...

Obviously the 160 7200 rpm drive will be the fastest, but if ur comparing same density and speed hard drives, then usually the hitachi is slightly faster than the seagate.

Im not even gonna bother talkin about other manufacturers, cuz those 2 are pretty much the best manufacturers.

in a few days I'll buy the hitachi 7k100 and make a review of my upgraded Toshiba Satellite.
