Sure! I'm sure it'll also be compatible with the intel Octo and the Deca cores coming out later. Maybe even two of them for dual octo or dual deca core action!

Since Quad-Core mobile processors will not be available until 2008 (when the M1210 will likely have long been replaced by other models), I SERIOUSLY doubt that it would work. It will probably be based on a completely different platform using much newer techonology than what is possible or cost efficient today.

Probably no, The current Quad Core CPU is desktop only (LGA775 socket) and Intel will have a new mobile platform out next year called Santa Rosa. It is doubtful they're going to make a quadcore that's compatible with Merom systems.
