My eyes hurt! Already I am becoming near sighted and it is not through genetics. I realize that continued use has had something to do with this, and that hours in front of the computer will degrade my vision over time, but I have noticed my tired eyes a lot more with my fairly new Dell XPS gen 2 laptop. For me, this is simply not worth it. I have heard that the screens used for these laptops are no good.
Anyway, I am looking for something new, with the screen being an important part of what I end up purchasing. Not very familiar with screen technology and am wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction for the nicest and best notebook screens available. Besides this, I am looking for a gaming oriented notebook and although I would like to step down from the tenpoundish xps gen 2 notebook, size is not so much an issue as is screen quality. Any insight, even with just tweaking this screen would be great!
