Fan Speed Control On Sager5720

Is there a way to turn my fans up higher than the FN+f2 option? With a third party program? My sager heats up so easily.

eh? no fn plus f2 is the max and if you have heat problems even at that setting you should check the innards of your laptop.. something is wrong.

My 9750 does the same, get's warm quick. I find using a book or something else (currently one of those 3 sided scale rules does the trick nicely) to prop up the back helps allow the air into the vents on the underside. When doing very intensive work I also prop up the front too and that helps. Doesn't make it easy to type though! The important thing is to not block the fan intake.

Otherwise do a search for cooling related issues on this forum, there are lots of reccomended cooling stands that other people use for their hot Sagers!

If those things fail, maybe your system is blocked with dust and debris inside? Careful cleaning could help, keeping yourself grounded to prevent static to the inside of your lappy and generally not poking anything inside
