4gb Ram

hey i just got this new computer, i ordered 4gb of ram with it but the company were unable to put in 4 without the computer crahing o im stuck with 2. Is it possible to place 4 in without crashing i dont know whats wrong.

what BIOS revision are you running, and what brand and speed of memory is it? I have the P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe myself and I haven't had a problem with it running 800Mhz DDR2 (which other owners say has a problem working with it). The latest BIOS ASUS has is 0603 might try giving that a whirl, also Windows XP won't see 4GB of RAM, so I don't know why you spent money on it. Vista RTM isn't nearly the memory hog the betas were.....then again betas often do not work as well as the finished product.
