Fujitsu N5010 Keyboard jumping problem?

Thread Starter
When I am typing on my N5010 I have this really annoying problem of the keyboard jumping from one place to another; so when I am typing, it will suddenly jump to somewhere earlier in the paragraph and start typing there. Highly annoying. And I am definitely not touching the trackpad whilst typing. Anybody else get this? I have installed Office 2k3, dont know if that is what's causing the problem.

I was having this problem and it was driving me insane. I always use an external mouse, so I set the trackpad to be disabled when an external mouse is plugged in and the problem disappeared. I was sure I wasn't hitting the track pad, but I guess I was.

I don't think it has anything to do with touching the touchpad. I had the same problem on my desktop computer using Visual Studio .NET. In fact I doubt it has anything to do with the hardware as the jumps it often made where way off the screen. Sometimes it went a couple of hundred lines up or down.
