I'm almost certain you don't ahve the full 80gig available, I believe 5-10gigs are put aside for a hidden partition. The hidden partition holds your system restore information. The C: is your Windows directory and it is what gets wiped when you do a full system restore. Your D: does not get touched and is there to hold important files. Its a great feature, cuts down on your defrag time, cuts down on your reload time, cuts down on all the times you've lost information that you've wanted to keep. I suggest keeping it like you had it....but thats just me :P
