Well I've been on vacation and so haven't been able to follow up on my situation. Patriot ended up sending me two new sticks of 1GB ram. I did have to send mine back to them. They were nice enough not to need a copy of my receipt. All in all, everything turned out ok.
Rather than start a new thread, I though I would add my question to this existing one, if anyone would like to chime in, that would be great.
I am going to upgrade my existing 60gb hd to either a 120 or 160gb(seagate) this week. I wanted to know the best way of going about this. I know I could just swap out the hd's, and then reinstall the osx, and transfer all my apps and files from the original hd. Or, I could put the new hd in an enclosure, and then use something like superduper to transfer to the new hd. Which method does everyone prefer?
Note: I do have bootcamp currently installed, with xp home. The reason I am upgrading the hd is so that I can make a larger partition for my xp side of things. Do I need to remove bootcamp and then reinstall it and xp? Or would using superduper allow me to just move it to the new hd and also create a larger partition for it.
