Does anyone know where I can find the pics of a taken apart or the process of taking apart an Acer 8104? I thought I remember someone on this board doing it, but can't seem to find it. I want to see if my LCD inverter is broken or if wires are loose because my screen flickers and has been going black all of a sudden (I describe it in a previous post in the general section). Thanks.

Hey I would like to open up my 8104 as well, and just like you I had found those pictures but they are at really advanced stage. How did you manage to open it up?
I have removed all the screws visible, removed the hard drive along with all the covers of the memory cards and wifi. So do I remove the screen or something? And how do I do that, as the cables do not allow for pulling.
Thanks in advance
EDIT- Managed to open up my computer, no need to remove the screen, as such, BUT I didn't realise I did not even have to open up my computer, I just needed to remove the keyboard(which was the difficult part really!) And now my screen is not working!!! AHHH!
