I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is beginning to seem a common problem with the 5760. I have had the same problem with mine and after talking with Sager directly about it they have requested I send it back to them for repairs. I sent mine back to them 3 days ago on December 8th and was told it will take up to 3 weeks to get it back. I also know of at least one other individual here on notebookforums who has had the same issue. It is very dissapointing to have a problem like this due to faulty design when you spend this amount of money on a laptop but I am not bitter. I still love my Sager.
I have a thread about this problem already in the Sager 57XX tech support section of these forums.
It is caused by the actual female connector itself coming loose where it is soldered to the motherboard. There is a lack of support against side to side stress on the plug and if you subject the cord and plug to enough of this it causes the break. You will need to get a RMA promptly and get it repaired immediately before the connection causes a short and you end up with a dead laptop.
