plz if anyone had installed and used windows vista on an asus notebook and especially on ans asus w5f plz tell me of ur experience and problems thank you

I installed the leaked RTM Vista on my Z70Va for giggles. Everything worked fine, but drivers are an issue. IMHO, just wait until the real thing is released. HControl didn't work, and many of the drivers had to be installed under compatibility mode.

And also, IMHO, I really didn't see why I'd want to jump to Vista. I have WinXP pretty much functioning like Vista, sans the transparent gui. Vista ate my batteries like they were candy due to the X700 always working overtime.

hey thanks man i downloaded vista upgrade and it said that i can install vista with no probleems with any drivers except the audio one which i found an update for to work in vista and my asus is vista capable, and i have the final official release. what do u think
