9750 gpu power settings?

So I know there is a way to set the cpu powersettings to "Always on" to have your processor run at max speed. Is there something similer for the GPU? it seems like it isnt performing very well (7900 GTX 512). and is there some good software to monitor it?

None that I know of, but you must remeber that 512mb of video is overkill for most games of today and if the game doesn't need that much than the card won't use that much. But if you are still see lag on the games at max settings than its probably the game itself.
