I'm investigating a slowdown of my M90. Initially it showed as video files stuttering terribly. I thought I'd fixed it but it has started again. I've checked for viruses and malware, but found nothing. However, I've noticed that Notebook hardware control is telling me my CPU is running at 1.00gz. I have an M90 2.13ghz machine so this is a little odd. NHC used to jump between 1.00 and 2.13 on the taskbar even when the machine was on high performance. I'm wondering if my core duo is messed up in some way, or whether NHC is showing false speeds.
Speedstep is disabled in bios, dynamic switching also disabled. NHC set to max performance.... CPU voltage seems to be 0.95
