Are there anything about these manf. that I should be warned about?

I also just purchased a Gateway 6426.. <3 it! It's definately not a graphics powerhouse, but it's a great lappy for the price.

Hey, if it is a Vista compatiable PC and you can get a FREE upgarde to Vista Home Permium, and it has at least 1 GB of Ram and at least 128MB of shared or onboard Video, then it meets the standards for the next OS, I have yet to see any PC that are flying off the Retail Shelves that DON'T meet the current Standards, if you wanna Game, just buy an XBOX 360 or a PS3, don't waste good money on a 2,000 dollar PC just the play Games on

I'm sorry, your post is a little confusing to me. Are you for or against? I really like mine, it meets the req. for Vista Premium, (free upgrade) not to mention it came with a free printer, which just sweetened the deal for me...

Well take a look at my sig, I think it speaks for it self! didn't mean to confuse anyone, I'm not a PC Gamer, so that's why I bought my MX6447 Notebook, 128MB of V-Ram is more than I'll ever use in a PC, I use it for mulitmedia, DVD's and Audio MP3's I have access to a XBOX 360 in my house, if I wanna play games (well it's my roomies) but never-the-less I just wouldn't pay 2,000 for a PC, for games, it just seems like waste of money to me, but, To-Each-His-Own...........

Same thing for me.. the only game I play is the original Neverwinter Nights. But for the most part my wife uses it for web browsing and Microsoft Money and that sort of stuff. I'm not much of a gamer either, so it really suits my needs perfectly! (NWN runs very well, btw)
