F4005 Brightness

Problem is whenever I reboot my laptop or when it wakes up.. the brigtness level goes down to about 50% which is quite dark. Is it possible to keep it at the 100% mark at all times ? The Acer tool doesn't seem to do the job properly, I have to do it manually every damn time system is up.

Are your power settings set to portable/laptop in Control Panel -> Power Options. Or is it set to something different?

I've got this set to auto, external monitor, and ZERO percent. I don't have an external monitor. Do you?

Go into the bios and see if you can turn off "autodim" .
My 4010 has it in there,but I'm not sure if all Acers do.
