Received My AX9

Received my AX9(Sager 5950) yesterday from Hypersonic. I was somewhat worried at first after I ordered because I didn't know much about them besides what I have read in the forums. I was going to order a 5950 through PC Torgue but everytime I called to order all I got was a voice mail saying that they would call me back. I left the voice mails but still to this day I still haven't received even one call. This left me with only a few choses and so I went with Hypersonic as they seem to have a good price. Now there are plenty of reviews of the Sager 5950 aka AX9 so there is no need for a new one. I just wanted to say that had a good experience and receive it nicely packed and it booted right up with no problems. My 3DMark 05 score was 10950 right out the box at defalt settings which I believe is good. Also I did not do the pixel guarantee but luckly I still received a screen that has no dead pixels. So all and all my experience has been a good one and I give it a 8.8 out of 10. Hopefully this little read helps someone thinking of buying a Hypersonic. Good day.

Congrats Jascias,

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do my CX-7.

I had a similar experience from Alienware before I ordered my Hypersonic. I sent their sales dept a detailed message telling them I was ready to spend my money and just had these questions. They finally responded almost a month later when my Hypersonic was already half-built.

If even the sales dept can't respond to someone ready to buy, what might that say about the rest?

My Hypersonic experience has been great, other than the incorrect online status reports while I was waiting for delivery.

This is true, I would have scored them higher but this was one of their flaws. But I had the same problem back in the day with Dell (Inspiron 8000) and gatway (M675). So I guess for whatever reason all companys are guilty of this. I just happy that my system got here in one piece. I will try to come back to this link everyfew months or so to give a update on how the system has kept up. For some reason (Knock on wood) I have always been lucky with new systems. I had my Dell for three years (gave it to my god mom and it is still working to this day), next bought the Gateway because it was the only notebook at the time with a option for two hard drives. Also three years running (will be selling it soon), and now this. Hopefully my luck will continue.

By the way how do you check for heat or temp? Is there some type of software that does this? Anybody? Thanks.
