I use a Siemens router for my access point and I use a Linksys pcmcia card in my 5660.

I use the Dlink DWL-900AP+ access point and DWL-650+ pcmcia card. The access point just had a firmware upgrade that boosted the output wattage which increased the coverage inside my home by quite a bit. Highly recommended.

Hey everyone - my first post here. I just sent my money order to PC Torque for my 5660. Yeah, yeah, I know, upgrades in 2 months, but I'm the kind of person who will end up waiting forever, so I just had to do it. Anyways, that's a different subject.

Just wanted to say that I'll be getting the 5660 w/ integrated 802.11b miniPCI coolness. I've got a Linksys BEFW11S4 router/AP to use with it, and a WUSB11 receiver to compare it with. I am currently using the wireless for a desktop upstairs that's impossible to run cable to. The connection up there is decent, with it only dropping noticably (more than ~5 seconds) every few days. I'll be working in that same room and I'll post reviews of how it all works out! I'm hoping for it to be all up and running by next Wednesday. Thanks for a great forum, and I look forward to letting you guys know how it works!

heh, just a small paranoid question...

The TV Tuner won't work in the air, I'd assume, but if you accidentally turn it on, will it cause problems?

I dont have the wireless setup, nut I do have the dual batteries. I get between 2 hours and 45 minutes and 3 hours and 35 minutes based on if I am playing games or just surfing the web.
