Upgrade to an Intel CPU?... Sure, just go to
HP PartSurfer http://www.partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main
type in dv9000t, find the part number for the dv9000t motherboard and order one, along with the cpu of course. Note to check the memory modules to see if they are the same, DDR-2 is used on the Intel cpu'd machine... and I think DDR-2 is being shipped on AMD spec'd machines since x64..
Swapping out the motherboard will allow you to use /upgrade to a INTEL cpu.... otherwise AMD will be your only choice.
On Super_PI nytemunkey was asking about what knid of score you're getting on the 2M test.... I think the Intel Core Duo I had was like 1min, 18 seconds... and on a Sempron 3400 it's 1min, 57 seconds.
