PCT - anyone alive?

I have been trying to contact charles or atleast someone in charge at PCT for warranty repairs on my laptop. Please read the thread in my signature and you will know whats happened to me and now that my warranty company is gone I am dead in the water. I would like to know what is going on and see what my options are but I cannot live with sub par parts in my computer. I am trying to figure out what to do next. I have tried all their 800 #s, If i get thru to someone they tell me that I will get a call back but nothing happens.

try luke@nbf.com and see if you can get Charles from there. I only dealt with Luke and he was really good when PCTorque.com was with him.

I too have sent an email last week to Charles to clarify what is happening with my $500 extended warranty and ADP and I have not had a response either.

Tis not a good sign when there is silence and static in the air, lets hope Charles is busy working on a solution...

Guys, I want to let you know Charles was out of office all last week and no one else who works there was answering phones or emails.
Send him an email and he usually responds same day or next at latest.
I had major problems last week and ended up calling Laura at NBF to see if they still owned PCT but they dont .
She tried to get a message to Charles for me. I even rang Sager to see if all was OK with the company as my notebbok that arrived on Fri the week before was stuck in limbo because Charles instructions to have it shipped to me same day were not followed. After I finally got thru to him on Wed he got it shipped and here by last Fri.
I had originally paid for 3 day shipping.

I must say that Charles has been very helpful when I have been able to get thru to him.
He says they are very understaffed there at the moment.

Due to them trying to totally revamp the website and trying to fix the whole disaster with ATS going under which has also eliminated their direct telephone tech support they are swamped.
They definitely need to get more staff or at least a temp or 2 to answer the 800# or at least return calls within 1 hr as the voicemail says and also answer emails within an hour or two.
I have NEVER gotten thru to anyone when calling the 800# and NEVER gotten a call back in response to a voice message. Only got a callback from Charles when I requested one in an email.
I would be interested in anyone else's POV regarding this drop in Cust service standards due to these issues.

Sounds like they need more personnel...PCT is definitely not a one-man show...

That is not the type of customer service PCT advertises on their website.

Ignoring cutomers for a week, customers who may have issues that need immediate attention, is inexcusable. This is not the PCT I used to know. I'll be shopping elsewhere for my next laptop.

Do I have to resend my email then? Or will somebody get to it sooner if I just wait?

First off please let me apologize for any lack of service or support during this time. I am sure you are all aware of the issues currently going on at PCT as well as other vendors and we have been extremely busy, as well as short-handed. You can be sure that this is only a temporary situation and you will continue to receive the serivce that you have always had from PCT in the future. If anyone has any unresolved, non-ATS related, or any issues at all please email me and you will receive a prompt response. Thank you.

I will send my email again but it will be for the 3rd time...and it's beginning to look like I wont be getting my laptop back before school starts.
