I am selling my trusted Dell Inspiron 9300 Notebook which has been with me for around 18 months. Great powerful notebook. I have just ordered some new parts for an old P4 rig and now I have no need for this.
The computer (specs below) comes with a Creative Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA sound card (which retail for around 80 quid alone). Unfortunately due to what seems to be bad design, the casing has cracked in a few places and pieces of the plastic have come away. I have sorted it though using selotape wraped around the plastic (see pictures) which holds it secure in place. The damage does not in any way shape or form hinder the cards performance.
The specs :-
Intel Pentium M 1.7GHz Dothan CPU
2 x 512 MB Memory (Hynix I think - don't quote me though)
Nvidia Geforce 6800Go 256MB Memory
80GB Western Digital Scorpio Hard Drive
17inch WUXGA Screen @ 1920x1200
Sony 8x DVD Writer/Reader
Intel Wireless Card (2200BG)
6x USB Ports , DVI, VGA, Firewire, 100mbit Ethernet
1 x PCMCIA
As you can see its a pretty beefy computer. It was pretty much top spec for its model when when I bought it. The screen is great (lots of real estate). Wireless card is great, I get full signal all over my house. Graphics card is great also - plays all the latest games at various degrees of detail.
If you scout around the internet as well you can find guides to upgrade the GFX card to a Geforce GO 7800 if the 6800 doesn't give you enough power.
Theres no restore CD with this computer. Dell now put all their restore stuff on a partition on the hard drive. I removed this partition and therefore there is nothing to restore. I will however install Windows XP Home with the serial number on the bottom. Or of course I can leave the hard drive blank and let the buyer do it.
The only blemish on the computer is where a friend dropped a cigarette on it and it left a tiny little brown burn mark in between the buttons and the touchpad. But it is hardly noticeable (see the pictures)

I am asking £850 delivered for this. Bank Transfer only.
Thanks.
