Hi, I have a Thinkpad T43p and a couple days ago it just started to shut down randomly. I thought the OS might be corrupt so I tried formatting the HD but it was shutting down during that process too. One thing I noticed is that it never happens if I'm running it off the battery, only if I have the AC adapter attached. Do you think the AC adapter is causing it or could it be something else?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
