XTreme-G MobileForce XP 97.44 G3 RELEASED!!!

This driver is for Windows XP 32-Bit

This is the first MobileForce release based on NVIDIA's ForceWare 95-Series driver. Marking this debut is actually 2 drivers, the MobileForce VS 97.46, as well as this driver, MobileForce XP 97.44. This driver is based on NVIDIA's newest driver released specifically for the GeForce 8800-Series cards, but has been MobileForce'd with support for ALL Mobile GPU's, as well as the MobileForce Tweaks. These drivers seem to be quite solid, but there is a catch: there is NO CLASSIC CONTROL PANEL. This is an issue with the driver itself rather than ANYTHING to do with the MobileForce variant. NVIDIA is phasing-out the Classic Control Panel, so it's just best to get used to it. Have some fun, and please report back!!!

anyone tried this one yet? Looks like you can't overclock using the control panel anymore, they make you download the nTune. Sucks

Man, these really jammed up my M170 with a 7800gtx oc'ed using these. Loaded the 97.44's, ran 3d06, thought my computer broke

with 97.44's:
3d06-2499
sm2.0-1138
sm3.0-971
cpu-771

I then went back to the 84.63's that my machine likes so much and got my old numbers back within +/- a few points (didnt crack 3700 on that run, so not as impressive, LOL)

with 84.63's:
3d06-3698
sm2.0-1730
sm3.0-1749
cpu-800

I'm OC'ed at 440/1250

You know, I think the 7800gtx does not like the 9x.xx series drivers at all, I've tried various flavors and either the machine slowed down or acted wierd in some games, hmmmm.

Yeah these drivers are not very good for my go 6800. I get skips in frozen throne. At first I thought it was lag but after couple of games I figured out that it's the driver

If folks with older cards find older drivers work better they should just, you know, keep using the older drivers??

Well, the reason I said that is because I was made aware of some thieves stealing my work. All of the work that I put into the MobileForce drivers have been taken and reproduced. Granted, its all stuff that can be done with RivaTuner, but I have spent countless hours finding a good "balance" as well as getting things to work right. Just as Peiter from LaptopVideo2Go has done.

I have been having some financial troubles of late, not going to have a very good Christmas, and my girlfriend dumped me a couple of weeks ago, so I'm not doing that well right now.

It just makes everything worse finding out that my work was stolen. If I am to continue my work, I'm going to have to figure something out with protecting it.

Damn Tony that sucks. Keep your head up dude... some years suck, others are great... sorry to hear about the misfortunes but you'll rebound back.

Sorry to hear that you are having a bad holiday. But man, I hope that despite these bad times, you may be able to have a great Christmas. Anyway, thanks for all the hard work. I will install them and see how they work out. Well have a better Christmas and New Years.

Sorry to rain on your prade, however I experienced the same problem AndyM did. My 3dMark06 score went from 4896 to 3382. I have no clue why, but hope that these posts may help in your improvement of the drivers.

Anyway, thanks for all your help. I look forward to the next update. Have a good one.
