XP Pro SP2 en 32bit upgrade to Vista Ultimate en 64 bit on Aurora MJ12

Hi there! Has anyone done this step before???

Yesterday I have got the Ultimate Edition for 79$ as download and now I will upgrade my Aurora 7700 MJ12 to the 64bit Version of this OS.

M$ tells that this should be possible without problems, but I fear I will get some Driver issues with my RAID 0 Array, Geforce Go7800 GTX, Creative Audigy ZS, AMD Chipset, AMD X2 +3800 CPU etc.

Sadly Alienware actually gives no support for this...

Best regards from Germany

Wow, great answer but what was the question?

Be sure that it's not an illegal copy, I've got a correct key and a correct bill and I'm able to read and check something BEFORE I pay for illegal dump! And if not, is this MY problem, isn't it?

I installed vista on my laptop, albeit its the intel version, but I managed to get everything to work by just installing the xp drivers (although i installed the 32bit version of vista). Try looking for drivers for 64bit vista, and if you can't find them, find 64bit xp drivers for your hardware, they should install and work fine in vista
