In anticipation of my soon to be arriving 5960 (wednesday according to UPS)I went ahead and made up a cooler to fit it. I took 2 targus chill mats attached and wired them together then epoxied some metal pieces to it for support. My metal cutting skills arent all that great and I still have a little touchup work to do on it but here it is.

That would be a great excuse to buy all the extra hardware and get all those shiny new boxes
Can't these people who sell these lappys simply turn it on and spot a problem like that
. From what I gathered from your posts, it wasn't a long wait for you to get it (as compared to AW). If the oversight was due to rushing it out--then I say sloooooow down, and do it right. Which reseller did you get it from? I really hope its an easy thing to correct-meaning you don't have to return it.
I was worried from ordering from them at first but the AX9 model came on time and packaged very well. Build quality is excellent, no comparsion. It does get hot on the right side of the keyboard tho, but that is to be expected on this kind of system. I did have the same light leakage as Zormac but after the screen warmed up for awhile and after smoothing the screen with my fingers from left to right, I had very little leakage.
