Problem burning with the m9700..

Thread Starter
Anybody had any problems lately with their m9700 when burning?

For some reason I tried to make a copy of a movie my gf owns and wants a copy at my house, using the same way I've done dozens....yes lets leave it at dozens....of times before on my m9700, and now im getting a really odd error WHENEVER I try to use the burner, I say this because I thought maybe it was "Dvdshrink" which is the program I use, so I went into nero and tried to burn a dvd data disc with just a text file on it and no go. The drive reads discs just fine as ive been watching movies/playing games fine lately which is why I didnt discover it until now after not burning anything for about...3 weeks.

This is the error report, if ANYBODY has ANY idea as to why this might be happening please let me know.

I just tried burning again with nero and the first time I didn't even think to check. Nero itself in its "time/event" window it keeps showing a "Power Calibration Error"....does this mean my drive is dying when it comes to burning? I just googled that and apparently it can be caused by a weak drive. Anybody know?
