hmmm... seems to be just a bit under the A8Js if I recall correctly. I wonder why

The overclock seems doesn't have much improve on 3DMark05 no matter how much I overclocked and I don't know why, but 3DMark06 improve a lot.

Hrm, A8JS max/native resolution 1440x900 compared to the G1 at 1680x1050. It should not be too hard too hard to see why. (just incase you can not see why, the same GPU running at a lower resolution will perform faster)

But 3DMark will set resolution to 1024X768 when run the benchmark.

Good call, I have never used 3D Mark or any other benchmarking tool so I will take your word. It makes sense though in order to keep the test standardized. Oh well, no idea why the A8JS clocks faster. It maybe because it is smaller and the electrons have a shorter distance to travel. <(do not take that seriously)

Noob question. Why did you use ATI tools to OC the 7700 Go rather than an Nvidia tool such as RivaTuner?
