CX7 touchpad not fully functional

I purchased a CX7 and the OS was not installed. I need to understand why most of the functions of touchpad are grayed out through the mouse properties. Is it possible to get full function out of my touchpad (scrolling, touchpad options, or getting the round button in the center to function)?

I tried the clevo drivers, the hypersonic drivers, and the sager drivers, no love.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

For what it's worth, I got my CX7 with the OS installed, etc and I have the same situation in the mouse properties touchpad tabs. There might be a box that needs to be checked somewhere to get full control, but I didn't look real far.

I'd suggest giving HS support a call to see if they know how to get it going right.

LOL they might tell you you should have gotten them installed. I was thinking about saving 100 bux and finding a version of xp.. through my mysterious sources :] and doing the drivers myself... I'm fully capable of doing that.
But my thinking was that since I'm already putting out so much money, an extra 50-100 for a legal OS and to have it all working fine is worth the less hassle of doing it myself.
I got xp pro installed although i don't really use remote desktop :]
anyhow. My touchpad stuff in my mouse properties seems to be fine.

But my Wireless card seems to be really screwy but i'm too lazy to bug hs about it b/c i don't wanna ship it back.

if you tried the clevo drivers.. and no luck, reformat and see if you get any luckier..
there's a possibility that the whole touchpad is fried.. that happened to a customer of mine it was fun... and guess what . it was a sony. x.x

I ordered it with an OS and after six weeks they forgot to install it. They were kind enough to offer to do the installation, but I figured I could install an OS, I do it for a living. Oh and the touchpad works, just not the advanced functions.
