Alrighty, I'm upgrading my network to gigabit for transferring purposes and I host a LAN party every month or so, plus my current router is dying.
I'm looking into this router: LINK
All my desktops in the household already support gigabit except for my 9300. I looked into going the USB2.0 route but i know I'll only get probably a 200mb increase. I would go PCMCIA but my sound card goes there.
I do have a second external soundcard that runs off firewire so maybe if i can find a PCMCIA card that supports both firewire (with AC power) and gigabit then that would be the route to go. Or maybe if there is a conversion utility to convert 1 PCMCIA into 2, I have no clue.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

It is your only real hope.
