Best thing to do if you intend to do intense stuff like that is to create another admin account where only bare bones essentials are set to run. Set all extranious programs and background apps in the "Pretty" account to run just for that user. Many programs, upon installation, will give you that choice; Install for you, or for everyone. Perhaps someone can say how to limit the installed programs to certain users? I know it can be done pretty easily, but I forget how. |
