right click on your desktop, choose "Nvidia Display". then choose "clock freqvens settings", then "manual overclocking", move then the sliders to ex, 600 / 800...........done. (remember you MUST have "modded inf" installed in the driver. if you dont know how to do that, just tell me and i help you (its realy easy)).

Yeah the modded .inf from laptopvideo2go only enables u to install the drivers on a mobile card. Its not gonna enable you to overclock. U need something like Ntune or Coolbits to give u that option in the control panel.

Anways heres the link to Ntune.

Well Digg is a website. I have a 7900gtx so u should read the first post on the first page very carefully and make sure u download the right bios for ur card. http://www.notebookforums.com/thread185501.html Try using a CD-R with a program like CDburnerXPpro. U need to select 'burn image' or 'write image from file' or something like that. Don't burn it like a data disc. Also finalising the disc helps. Then u should be able to boot and flash from it.

RIGHT AND VERY WRONG. (modded inf do the driver compatible with your laptop, thats true, but you need modded inf to OC. (try to OC whitout modded inf or coolbits, etc, you cant ! ) modded inf do the same work like coolbits, (if you didnt know that). i never use coolbits, why should i, works perfect to OC whit just the driver)

but i mast make image of bios or jamalmod?

Well Im using a Vista and u need both. First a modded.inf to install a display driver and then another program like Rivatuner, ATItool, Ntune, to actually overclock.

Plus yes the driver wouldn't even install without the modified .inf so why would one try and overclock without nvidia drivers?

That's right. This modded INF unlocks O/C features in Nvidia Control Panel, plus many others.

You have to write the command line by yourself (nvflash xxxx.rom)
It is well explained on his web site.

hi all i have 7900gs go with drivers will be the best? i wont play oblivion cheers
post #1016 of 1404
Ive been using the 94.20 - 94.22 for the last 6 months and they have been fine, there is no noticeable improvement in speed with any of the latest ones so take your pick really and see how you get on.
try the stock dell drivers, ive never gained anything using these "tweaked" drivers let alone noticed any performance difference, half they time they either dont work, or clash with drivers and make things run like shit.

I second. I tried lots of different drivers an I always come back to the good ol' Dell stock 84.69.
84.69 Rules to go7900gs (overclocked or not). Dell stock drivers allways works best to Dell laptops.
can you overclock your card when you flash it BUT keep the dell driver??
