I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...
This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented.
Overall A+++
Fantastic had this machine 6 months and can honestly say have had no bother with it. Plays games better than most desktops and keeps up with the rest which is outstanding for a...
If they can prove it? You can always clock it back to factory settings when you are sending it back for replacement/repairs. I got my replacement and haven't heard anything about voiding my warranty.
voiding the warranty should be your last worry, its your machine you can do anyhing to it if you accpet the consecuences, now, if you damage the card, like I aparet;y did...
Just buy a 7900GTX man. Some good deals are out there if you can just find them. I got my card (new in dell sealed package) from a local guy in this forum for 280, and I'm still keeping the GS in case my lappy dies, and I have to return it.
How about you revert back your flash to stock and call dell for replacement card? I'd give it a try.
I have a 7950GTX in my lappy, and i want to unlock it too! When i try the F12 and start the BIOS running off the DVD/CD drive, i get NOTHING except it progresses to the windows XP "i'm starting up" concept. How do i get it so i can type in the BIOS unlocker on my 7950GTX?
I was wondering if I could discover the difference between the memory optimised and the normal bios versions by checking the timings in Nibitor, was hoping to spot the difference so I could make the same changes to allow the rev1 bios to clock higher on the memory. But the timings are identical, for the 7900GS rev0 optimised and not optimised memory, rev1 looks the same in Nibitor except for the board id.
Could you put a rev1 memory optimised bios together? Or can't it be done...
i get to the boot option screen, hit DVD/CD drive where the ISO files are, but it wont let me input them. Is the MoBo locked and first i have to unlock it??
image file, i burned it as an ISO. IIRC that's an image
Use a CD-R and burn the .ISO by selecting an option like 'Write disc from ISO file' (CDBurnerXP) or 'Burn Image' (Nero). If you have burned it in that way then also make sure you have selected the 'finalize disc' option.
Well i finally got the BIOS unlocked, and set the CPU / MEM speeds to 575MHz / 700MHz. My end score was 9,473. Now i'm hoping a little bit of tweaking w/o overclocking will yield the magic 9,500 i'm seeking.
