Laptop Temperatures

Hey!

I have a new Dell Inspiron 6400 centrino duo laptop. And i recently installed Ubuntu 6.10 but i find my laptop gets hot in Windows and Linux. The temps are around 40-45 degrees, is that normal?

Should i speak to Dell about it?

my e1505 runs warm on the right side. the hd will get to 55deg c when sitting on a flat surface. I have the back lifted and it will still get to 55 but takes longer. when i have an 80mm fan blowing that the bottom, the hd temps drops to 35deg c even under heavy load. I order an xpad4laptop i am gonna mod to hold the 80mm fan.
