I'm highly frustrated by the whole thing. There is next to no information on the AverMedia M103 Tuner card on the internet. The PDF on the CD that was provided is absolutely worthless. There isn't a single mention of Digital signal in the manual.
I can't get a single damn digital station to come in on my 9750 with this worthless Mini-PCI TV Tuner Module that is supposed to receive both analog and digital signals. I apparently can only get analog. From what I understand if you get a digital station to come in, it's all or nothing. No fuzzy signals. I live in Northeast Philadelphia right near the Northeast airport. I should be pretty damn close to the towers. But I can't even find any information on the net about that either. Antennaweb.org is supposed to give you information about the channels in your area. And I get a chart that lists the regular analog station numbers. Use 19154 zip for example. You'll see 29.1 for FOX. But that's the analog station channel. So I don't get it. And why the .1. I'm really starting to regret wasting my money on this stupid tuner module. Seems like another worthless upgrade on the 9750 just to get money out of ya. I've even purchased a passive UHF/VHF antenna which didn't help much. So I don't even know what to do now. I'm sure you can tell by now that I'm very frustrated. So if anyone has any information as to what I might be doing wrong, by all means, please advise.
Another thing. Regarding this IR Remote Control that is included with it. Also worthless. It only controls Windows Meda Player other than this worthless AverTV application. And it's very limited control. God forbid I want to use it for anything else and map the buttons to any function I deem necessary. I use Media Player Classic, and Core Media Player. I couldn't get any of the applications out there that claim to use the AVermEdia REmote Control to work. uICE, PC Remote Control, Girder, rc4wa plugin, bRemote22, ArcRemote and MythTV/MediaPortal/GBPVR... ALL WORTHLESS.
