40c? Nice!...anything you do to get those temps? Should I be bringing mine back to the apple store for idle of 56-60?

I think your fine.. it could be the temp of my house, 70 degress.

56-60 is just fine. id expect about 60c idle when its been on for a while

I would like to know the true speed difference between my Hitachi 120gig vs the Hitachi 160gig PRM drive. I don't think the upgrade for speed would be worth it.

my hitachi 120gb perp. HD seems slower than the 80gb that was in the macbook i owned before, anyone feel this way?
