Which one is the better m/bd?

Ok,I am trying to decide which system to keep as a stand alone biz sys. only.I have a lawn service so I have quickbooks running all the time. I want to buy or build a new home system later. Here is what I have between the two. I know they are old systems but they run fine and do what I need.
Home sys.--1 ghz with 512 meg ram(up to 1 gig),dvd/cd combo,zip drive,and removable rackmount hd. This is on a m810 series m/bd. ver.5 I think.
Biz sys.-- 750 mhz with 384 meg ram(up to 1 gig),cdrom, zip and rackmount. This is on a m830xlm series m/bd.
It seems according to the manual that the 830 is a better system than what I am on now as it supports ddr also as the 810 does not. Also the 830 has more pci slots (5) ver 2 on the 810.
I was thinking of taking the 1 gig cpu and putting it in the 830 m/bd and adding more ram. Then build or buy another home system. What are your thoughts? Most of all I want to know in your opinion what is the better m/bd of the two. Thanks guys and sorry so long of a post.john

You should use the slower system for your Business computer and usse the faster one as your HTPC but considering how media pcs are more cpu intensive now it couldnt hurt to just get a low end system altogether. You can find 2.4Ghz+ systems for 200+ at Dell outlet or ebay which would fit the job nicely.

That is how I am using them now (signature) but I wanted to keep the m830 and upgrade the cpu. Can I do that without having to flash the bios? Is there a certain speed i can up to before I have to do that? I am going to build a p4 later. A friend gave me a good deal and it will suit me fine.
