How do you download drivers for these Mobility Radeons?

I have an e1505 with the Mobility X1400...

Ive been using the Omega 6.5's but some programs I use have problems with them and I want to upgrade to newer drivers (currently at 6.12).

When I goto the ati/amd website and try to download drivers for mobility radeons, it makes me download some stupid verification program which promptly tells me that theres no corresponding software for my hardware .. WTF!!!???? How the hell am I supposed to update my driver?

Can I just use the regular Desktop Catalyst?

I just installed the latest Catalyst 6.12 drivers on my Asus M6N with the DH Mobility Mod Tool. It should definitely work on yours too.

Im using omega because ATI doesnt want to updates its driver for Dell. Basically it is same drivers for all x1400 cards on different brand. ATi just blocked DEll users from installing it. Do it manually. Dont use that program to check it will always to tell you no once it detect ur using a dell.
