I first would like to say hello. I have been watching over the forum for the past year and through a lot of your threads and responses I picked a AX20 for my laptop. I am now traveling more through work since my initial purchase. This puts me in troublesome situations at the airports with my AX20. Plus the people who sit next to me get a little ticked. I am looking into three laptops, MV7, CX7 and MV6. If anyone is taking their laptop on trips can you please share your experiences (security, battery life, air plane power adapter), or if you have one just let me know if you like it or not.

Hello Rudy1999,
Sorry to hear of your plight. I am planning on getting a AX20 in the new year. Are you downgrading only because its to big for travel, or do you have other problems with it? Can you post what you think of the build quality, overall impression of the lappy, does it get real hot, did you get it painted? It would be great to hear the views of someone who actually has this puppy.
Oh, did you get and extended warranty. If so, what does hypersonic do in that regard, do they service it themselves, is it through sager, or do they ship it out to a third party? I want to avoid the third party nightmare, thats occuring now with ATS warranty. I sent hypersonic an e-mail regarding this, and am waiting to hear back.
Good luck on your replacement.

I love my CX7, but it may not be the best solution if you travel and sit in airports a lot. It is big and heavy, not a problem for me going back and forth to class, but possibly more of an issue on an airplane. I get enough battery power for a 1 1/2 hour class without using any power mizer settings. Much more than that, and I start getting nervous about the battery running out.
